O WWE.com publicou um artigo onde indica as dez estrelas que se apresentarem à frente do seu tempo. A lista indica Dynamite Kid, Gorgeous George, Brian Pillman, Nick Bockwinkel, Bad News Brown, Goldust, Sabu, "Superstar" Billy Graham, Raven e Antonino Rocca.
A WWE compara Pillman a CM Punk ao dizer:
"Before CM Punk broke the fourth wall with his unforgettable “pipe bomb” tirade in June 2011, Pillman regularly cast his wild eyes right at the camera’s lens and unleashed bold messages that captured the unbridled emotion of The Attitude Era.
